Christmas Outfit with George at Asda

OKAY NOW IT IS DECEMBER I CAN OFFISH GET EXCITED ABOUT CHRISTMAS!

It’s true, it’s true, I’m in rehearsals for panto (oh yes I am), I’ve had a mug of mull, I’ve whacked up a big loads of fairy lights and I’ve pretty much committed to not shaving my legs until March (COME GET ME BOYS).

I BLOOMING LOVE CHRISTMAS! I love the tinsel, the tat, the glitter and the gluttony. I love trees blooming with baubles, hearing ‘Driving Home For Christmas’ as I drive home on Christmas Eve to my family, mince pies with brandy butter and most of all I love snuggling into a Christmas jumper.

This year I was super lucky when George at Asda asked me to style up one of their Christmas jumper, ensuring I was all decked out for Christmas Jumper DAY and, of course the big day itself. They have a GINORMOUS range of jumpers which I happily sifted though before deciding on this black number, completely with PRETTY red sequinned bows.

Sequin Bow Jumper – £14

Stolen Heart A-Line Skirt – £20

Most of the Christmas Jumpers I own already are completely ridiculous, so I figured it was time to own one that was *slightly* more sophisticated! I paired it with this awesome pleather A-line skirt which is THE DREAM. It’s thick, so it’s super warm even on this BALTIC day in the park, the cut is super-flattering (cos literally, my hips don’t lie) and it has POCKETS. EVERYTHING SHOULD HAVE POCKETS.

For the finishing touches, I added a pair of chunky black platform heels, some buttery soft leather gloves and some tights with little BOWS to keep the theme from the jumper going strong.

Platform Sandals – £16

Leather Gloves – £9

Bow Pattern Tights – £3.50

A slick of red lippy and a liquid eyeliner flick (and my charidee shop faux fur coat because GOOD GOD IT WEREN’T HALF CHILLSOME) and I was ALL SET!

I mean, I still have 56789473 presents to buy but at least I know what I’m gonna be wearing to prance round the Christmas Tree come the 25th!

THANKS GEORGE AT ASDA YOU ARE BABES!

I was kindly gifted all items by George at Asda in return for a post but if I hadn’t loved the clobber I wouldn’t have written about it!

Lovely stuff. And looking very lovely too, if you don’t mind my saying so.

I am Man at George of Asda. There’s a huge store near me, and it’s the mainstay of all my shopping and much of my clothing needs over the last few years. My favourite item I ever bought? A t-shirt with a laughing Sid James on the front for £6 a few years ago. Good old Sid. And yes, I do have a George Christmas jumper…

Looking fab Katie 🙂 The skirt is gorgeous and really suits you!
I bought a denim dress from George recently and have worn it soooo many times it’s untrue.
Anyway, I may have a look at the jumpers, might get Gaz one, if they have any ‘bah humbug’ styles 😉
    xx

You are such a babe, Brennan! I have mad love for George stuff – in fact I bought a Christmas teeshirt and PJs from there earlier today.
