Song of the Single Girl: Still Single

Well greetings to you my lovely blog readers. How are you? Oh good, I’m so glad. Yes, I’m fine actually, trundling along nicely up in panto-land, inhaling glitter stage left, right and centre and brushing up my OH NO WE DON’T’s wonderfully!

Now, if you’re a regular reader of this here blog, you’ll no doubt be aware that against ALL THE ODDS I am in fact still single. Some of you have read along with me as I navigate the treacherous world of Online Dating, yearned with me at the rosy romance on display at Ronnie Scott’s and helped me redefine Valentines Day to encompass all hearts everywhere, regardless of their marital status. In fact, I SO enjoyed Valentines Day last year, that this year, I’ve taken it a step further.

It gives me HUGE GREAT ENORMOUS KNEE-SHAKING PLEASURE to say that I’ll be doing my one-woman show again on Valentines Day 2014! Entitled ‘Song of the Single Girl: Still Single’, it’s a blend of comedy, songs and cabaret all celebrating exactly what it’s like to be a twentysomething singleton in the city. Have a gander at my lovely poster, which the wonderful Alexandra Bucktin  has designed:

IT'S MEEEEE

IT’S MEEEEE

So if you can’t bear the thought of spending another Valentines Day on yer todd, let’s all get together, drink a shedload of gin and snigger at all those who are stuck at Pizza Express gazing unhappily at each other over a chumpy set menu. DOUGHBALLS DO NOT EQUAL ROMANCE.  It would be SO lovely to see you there pals. The venue is smack bang in the middle of Central London, but a stone’s throw away from Soho, we’ve got some fabulous special guest performers, a wonderful live band and a programme that covers everything from Stiles and Drew, to Judy Garland, to Celine Dion plus some original material. THERE IS LITERALLY SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE GUYS! All overseen by one of the best musical directors in the biz, Mr Joseph Atkins (whose last show just won an Evening Standard away. So very casual.) I’ll also be chatting a lot. It’ll be like reading one of these blogs in your living room, but instead me reading it LIVE to you, gin in hand, and wearing a pretty (but probably also a bit slutty) frock.

So here’s all the deets to get yer mitts on some tickets:
